We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join a major construction project in the Riyadh region.
The ideal candidate should have 8-10 years of experience in electrical quantity surveying and cost management within infrastructure and building projects, with strong exposure to post-contract activities. Candidates with solid pre-contract experience will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and verify electrical quantity take-offs and measurements.
Manage variations, claims, and change orders.
Monitor project costs and budgets and identify potential cost impacts.
Prepare interim payment applications and evaluate subcontractor payments.
Review contract documents and ensure compliance with project requirements.
Support commercial and project management teams with cost reporting and forecasting.
Coordinate with site, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure accurate cost control.
Assist in final account preparation and project close-out activities.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
8-10 years of relevant experience in infrastructure and/or building construction projects.
Strong knowledge of quantity surveying, cost control, variation management, and contract administration.
Preference for candidates with post-contract experience.
Good understanding of FIDIC and construction contract practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quantity surveying/cost management tools.
Excellent communication skills in English.
