Commissioned Assets Support Green Energy Transmission Project

Bikaner-III has commissioned assets supporting the Green Energy transmission project, while the Neemrana link remains delayed. POWERGRID commissioned three 1,500 MVA ICTs, two 500 MVA ICTs and associated lines and bays. Five renewable-connectivity bays cover 1,467 MW.
Developers include Juniper Green Cosmic, First Energy, Proteus Energy, TP Saurya, ACME Cleantech, Saimaa Solar and Sunsure Solarpark. TP Saurya’s 190 MW and ACME’s 300 MW storage project had an expected commercial-operation date of 22 August 2026. The date does not confirm COD.
Transmission infrastructure reports identify land and substation-space dependencies at Neemrana-II. EnergylineIndia.com provides the status. The Green Energy transmission project completion effort extends to September 2027, with best efforts for July. Interim lines longer than 400 km may create reliability and oscillation concerns. The Green Energy transmission project is usable in part, but the transfer path remains incomplete. Evacuation and COD determine the next stage of the Green Energy transmission project.
