Long-term PPAs Support Hybrid Power Projects

AMPIN’s Rajasthan project shows access risk for Hybrid power projects. It has commissioned 50 MWAC of solar and 18.9 MW of wind, while temporary network access currently permits evacuation.
Permanent general network access is expected in February 2027. Until then, the rating report records grid curtailment and moderated initial generation. The expected date does not establish that permanent access is already operational.
About 92% of capacity is secured under 25-year PPAs with a weighted average tariff of Rs 3.56/kWh. The balance capacity is intended for merchant sale. Renewable projects need reliable evacuation to convert generation into revenue. EnergylineIndia.com provides the assessment. Hybrid power projects benefit from long-term contracts, but curtailment affects delivery. Hybrid power projects must therefore track both network access and operating performance. February 2027 is the next stated access milestone. Stable generation after permanent connection will determine whether Hybrid power projects translate contracted capacity into dependable delivered output.
