We are seeking a proactive Safety Assistant to support our health and safety team in maintaining a secure and compliant workplace. You will assist with daily safety administration, inspect work areas, maintain safety logs, and help promote a zero-harm environment across our operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct regular walk-throughs to assist in identifying workplace hazards and ensuring basic safety compliance.
• Maintain safety documentation by organizing incident logs, inspection sheets, and training records.
• Coordinate safety training schedules, prepare materials, and track employee attendance for compliance tracking.
• Issue safety equipment (PPE) to staff, maintain stock levels, and log equipment inspections.
• Assist in incident reporting by gathering factual data, taking site photographs, and preparing preliminary drafts.
• Support emergency drills by tracking evacuation times, verifying roster lists, and checking emergency equipment readiness
