Responsibilities:
o Attach and detach heavy loads using cables, pulleys, and hoists.
o Inspect all rigging hardware, slings, and chains before lifts.
o Communicate clearly with crane operators using hand signals.
o Calculate load weights to select correct rigging equipment.
o Secure machinery and heavy materials safely for transport.
o Direct the safe landing and positioning of lifted materials.
