Cargo & Baggage Handling Automation System (BHS/MHS)

We are looking for skilled and experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our team for a Cargo & Baggage Handling Automation System (BHS/MHS) project at an airport.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Carry out mechanical installation and assembly works for Cargo & Baggage Handling Automation Systems.
Install and assemble conveyors, rollers, belt conveyors, transfer units, chutes, diverters, lifts, and other mechanical equipment.
Perform mechanical fitting, alignment, leveling, adjustment, and positioning of equipment.
Read and understand mechanical drawings, equipment layouts, assembly drawings, and installation instructions.
Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and other mechanical equipment safely and correctly.
Perform drilling, cutting, grinding, bolting, fastening, and mechanical assembly works as required.
Ensure correct installation and alignment of conveyor components and mechanical assemblies.
Support testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, troubleshooting, and equipment adjustment activities.
Coordinate with Mechanical Foreman, Electrical, Controls, and other site teams.
Identify installation issues and report them to the Mechanical Foreman/Supervisor.
Maintain proper housekeeping and keep the work area clean and organized.
Follow all HSE requirements, work permits, airport safety regulations, and project procedures.
🛠️ Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Fitter.
Experience in BHS, MHS, conveyor systems, material handling, industrial automation, or airport projects is highly preferred.
Strong hands-on experience in mechanical fitting and equipment assembly.
Knowledge of conveyor installation, alignment, leveling, and adjustment.
Ability to read and understand basic mechanical drawings and layouts.
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical measuring equipment.
Good understanding of mechanical safety procedures.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from the Mechanical Foreman/Supervisor.
Physically fit and able to work in a demanding project environment.
