This role requires a hands-on professional with strong food & beverage experience, particularly in closely managing stock levels, forecasting demand, and significantly improving cost control.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage full accounting cycle for a division up to audit finalization
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
• Lead budgeting and rolling monthly forecasts
• Take full responsibility for closely monitoring stock levels and forecasting requirements to prevent shortages or excess
• Implement strong controls to ensure food items and consumables are always properly planned and available
• Drive measurable improvement in costing control, especially across:
o Local purchases
o External / imported purchases
• Review and strengthen supplier costing structures to deliver improved margins
• Analyze food costing and ensure menu pricing aligns with actual costs
• Identify wastage, leakage, and inefficiencies and implement corrective action
• Liaise with external auditors and ensure smooth audit completion
• Strengthen internal controls and financial discipline
Qualifications:
• 5–8 years experience, preferably in F&B, café, restaurant, or retail food environments
• Strong background in:
o Food costing
o Stock management
o Demand forecasting
o Cost control
• Experience working with local and international suppliers
• Commercially aware and results-driven
• Able to independently manage a division’s finance function
Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CMA or equivalent) are preferred but not mandatory.
