We are looking for experienced Façade Design Engineers with a strong background in GRC and UHPC façade systems to join our Engineering & Design team in Riyadh.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed designs, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, erection drawings, and 3D models for GRC & UHPC façade elements.
- Review architectural and structural drawings and develop appropriate façade solutions.
- Perform structural analysis and design calculations for panels, fixings, anchors, and connections.
- Carry out load assessments including wind, dead, live, and seismic loads.
- Coordinate with BIM, engineering, production, project, and site teams.
- Provide technical support during manufacturing and installation.
- Resolve design and coordination issues and prepare RFIs when required.
- Participate in design reviews and coordination meetings with consultants and contractors.
- Support value engineering to optimize façade systems for performance, cost, and constructability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of relevant façade design experience.
- Experience with GRC and/or UHPC façade systems is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of façade panels, fixings, anchors, connections, and structural detailing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Experience with Rhino/Grasshopper, Tekla, and BIM coordination tools is an advantage.
- Knowledge of structural analysis software such as STAAD.Pro, ANSYS, SAP2000, or ETABS.
- Familiarity with relevant EN, ASTM, BS, ACI, and PCI standards.
- Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
- Good command of English.
