Senior Planning Engineer
🎯 Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Planning Engineer with strong expertise in Primavera P6, baseline schedule development, project planning, progress monitoring, and schedule control for large-scale high-rise building projects.
The ideal candidate must have expert-level knowledge of developing and managing baseline schedules and be capable of independently handling complex project planning requirements.
✅ Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and manage the Project Baseline Schedule using Primavera P6.
Prepare detailed WBS, activities, logic, durations, resources, and relationships.
Develop integrated schedules covering engineering, procurement, construction, testing & commissioning, and handover.
Monitor actual progress against the approved baseline schedule.
Prepare weekly and monthly progress updates and reports.
Analyze schedule deviations, delays, critical path, and float.
Prepare recovery and mitigation schedules where required.
Conduct Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis and identify potential delays.
Coordinate with construction, engineering, procurement, commercial, and project control teams.
Review subcontractor schedules and integrate them into the overall project schedule.
Prepare look-ahead schedules, progress curves, manpower histograms, and S-curves.
Support delay analysis, EOT claims, and time-impact assessments.
Ensure planning activities are aligned with project milestones and contractual requirements.
📌 Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
Strong experience as a Senior Planning Engineer on major construction projects.
Expert-level Primavera P6 experience is mandatory.
Strong expertise in Baseline Schedule development and management.
Mandatory experience in High-Rise Tower Projects.
5-Star Hotel / Luxury Hospitality Construction experience is mandatory.
Excellent understanding of WBS, CPM, critical path, resource loading, progress measurement, and schedule analysis.
Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and project controls.
Experience with large-scale, complex and fast-track construction projects.
Strong analytical, reporting, and coordination skills.
Candidates currently available in Saudi Arabia and able to join immediately will be preferred.
🚫 Strict Requirement: Candidates without proven high-rise tower and 5-star hotel experience, or without strong Primavera P6 and baseline scheduling expertise, will not be shortlisted.
