The ideal candidate should have previous cashier/POS experience in a restaurant, café, hotel, supermarket, or similar environment and be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately.
* Operate the POS system and process customer orders efficiently.
* Issue receipts, refunds, and change as required.
* Maintain and balance the cash drawer.
* Provide friendly and professional customer service.
* Assist customers with menu items, promotions, and payment inquiries.
* Coordinate with kitchen and service teams for smooth order processing.
* Maintain a clean and organized cashier counter.
* Follow company cash-handling procedures and operational policies.
* Support daily operations as required.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of cashier/POS experience, preferably in F&B.
* Experience in restaurants, cafés, hotels, supermarkets, or retail is preferred.
* Good numerical and computer skills.
* Previous experience with POS systems.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Fluent English is required.
* Additional languages are an advantage.
* Professional appearance and positive attitude.
* Ability to work under pressure during busy periods.
* Must be flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
* Honest, reliable, and trustworthy.
