Key Responsibilities
Trane RTAC Specialization: Perform comprehensive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs specifically on Trane RTAC series rotary screw chillers.
Controls & Programming: Program, configure, and navigate Trane CH530 and Tracer Chiller Controller systems.
Component Binding: Execute precise LLID (Low Level Intelligent Device) binding and configuration of electronic control modules.
Advanced Troubleshooting: Diagnose intricate electrical, electronic, and mechanical faults within the chiller system.
Parts Replacement: Replace critical mechanical components (compressors, electronic expansion valves, fan motors) and electronic parts (control boards, sensors, transducers).
Required Qualifications & Skills
Technical Expertise: Proven experience working directly with Trane RTAC units.
Software & Programming: Proficient in using Trane TechView software for binding and programming.
Schematics: Ability to read and interpret complex electrical diagrams, blueprints, and piping schematics.
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in industrial or commercial chiller mechanics.
Certifications: HVAC certification or a diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning is highly preferred.
