Professional Experience – Document Controller
Manage and control all project documentation, including technical documents, drawings, submittals, correspondence, reports, and project records.
Maintain accurate Document Registers, Transmittal Logs, Submittal Logs, Drawing Registers, and Correspondence Logs.
Perform document numbering, classification, coding, filing, and archiving in accordance with project procedures.
Control document revisions and versions, ensuring that the latest approved documents are properly distributed and superseded revisions are controlled.
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and ensure proper distribution to the concerned project teams and stakeholders.
Coordinate document submissions, reviews, approvals, and workflows with engineers, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
Monitor the status of submitted documents and follow up on pending, overdue, rejected, and returned documents until final approval.
Review documents before submission to ensure correct naming, numbering, revision, format, and required information.
Manage and organize Shop Drawings, Material Submittals, Method Statements, RFIs, MIRs/MRIRs, FIRs, NCRs, SORs, reports, and other technical documentation.
Ensure proper electronic and physical filing, document retrieval, and archiving for easy access and audit purposes.
Support project teams by providing accurate and updated documentation and ensuring effective document distribution.
Maintain document confidentiality, data accuracy, and information security.
Support internal and external audits by preparing required records and ensuring documentation complies with company, client, consultant, and project requirements.
Coordinate closely with Engineering, QA/QC, HSE, Procurement, Planning, and Site teams to ensure smooth document flow and timely submissions.
