We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee daily field operations for Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) projects. You will manage ground crews, machinery, and subcontractors involved in foundation piling, reinforcement placement, concrete pouring, and structural lattice tower erection, ensuring all works are executed safely, on schedule, and according to project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Site Operations: Direct daily field activities for piling works (drilling, rebar cage insertion, concrete pouring) and tower erection (assembly, rigging, hoisting, and bolting).
Quality & Technical Control: Ensure foundation dimensions, pile depths, anchor bolt alignments, and tower verticality match approved engineering drawings and specs.
Resource & Schedule Management: Coordinate equipment deployment (piling rigs, cranes, boom trucks), material deliveries, and site workforce to meet project milestones.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict HSE protocols on-site, including lift plan adherence, working-at-height controls, PPE usage, and daily Toolbox Talks.
Progress Reporting: Maintain daily site logs, track work quantities, report delays or technical discrepancies to the Project Manager, and document site inspections.
Subcontractor Coordination: Supervise specialized piling and erection crews, verifying work quality and verifying daily production sheets.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Minimum 3+ years of site supervision experience in high-voltage OHTL construction, with specific expertise in foundation piling and lattice tower erection.
Education: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering (or equivalent technical field experience).
Technical Skills: Ability to interpret structural, foundation, and rigging drawings; proficient in site survey verification and quality control inspections.
Certifications: Valid Safety/HSE supervisory training (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH, or local authority equivalents) and Work at Height certification.
Soft Skills: Strong leadership, site problem-solving skills, and clear team communication under field conditions.
