Saudi Aramco Experience: Mandatory
We are looking for an experienced Cost Estimator with strong EPC company experience and proven Saudi Aramco project experience to join our team in Saudi Arabia.
The candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing detailed cost estimates, tender pricing, BOQ/MTO verification, manpower and material costing, subcontractor/vendor evaluation, unit rate build-up and commercial proposals for Saudi Aramco Oil & Gas projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review Saudi Aramco ITBs, RFQs, tender documents, specifications, drawings, BOQs and scope of work.
• Prepare detailed EPC/EPCIC cost estimates for Oil & Gas projects.
• Prepare and verify BOQ/MTO quantities from drawings and technical documents.
• Develop labour, material, equipment, subcontractor and indirect cost estimates.
• Prepare detailed unit rates and composite rates.
• Obtain and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations.
• Analyze market rates, historical project costs and productivity norms.
• Include mobilization, demobilization, camp, transportation, equipment, HSE, QA/QC, overheads and other project costs.
• Identify project risks, assumptions, exclusions and contingency requirements.
• Prepare tender pricing summaries and commercial proposals.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Planning and Contracts departments.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, tender clarifications and commercial negotiations.
• Support management in developing competitive pricing strategies.
• Maintain databases for labour, material, equipment and subcontractor rates.
• Ensure estimates comply with Saudi Aramco requirements and project specifications.
Mandatory Requirements:
• Minimum 7 years of relevant Cost Estimation experience.
• Saudi Aramco project experience is mandatory.
• EPC/EPCIC contractor experience is mandatory.
• Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical / Pipeline / Gas Plant project experience.
• Strong experience in tendering and bidding.
• Excellent knowledge of BOQ, MTO and unit-rate build-up.
• Saudi Arabia market costing experience.
• Good knowledge of labour, material, equipment and subcontractor pricing.
• Excellent MS Excel and cost estimation skills.
• Ability to independently prepare estimates from tender document review through final bid pricing.
Educational Qualification:
Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Cost Engineering or a related discipline.
Preferred Experience:
Candidates with Saudi Aramco experience in Oil & Gas facilities, pipelines, gas processing plants, refineries, tank farms, utilities, brownfield/greenfield projects, maintenance or shutdown projects will be preferred.
