We are seeking an exceptionally qualified, completely independent Senior Piping Draftsman capable of executing a heavy industrial plant piping design project from scratch. This is a fast-paced deployment requiring high autonomy from day one.
Core Responsibilities:
Design and engineer comprehensive plant piping structures, layouts, and system configurations from the ground up.
Develop, review, and finalize precise process P&IDs, Equipment Layouts, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, and Isometric spool sheets.
Deliver error-free, fabrication-ready drawings meeting heavy industrial engineering standards.
Mandatory Criteria & Technical Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 8–10+ years of dedicated experience focused strictly on heavy industrial Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Refinery piping networks. (MEP, HVAC, or Civil drafting backgrounds will not be considered).
Software: Absolute mastery of AutoCAD (additional proficiency in MicroStation or 3D plant modelling packages is a major advantage).
Asset Readiness: Must possess and bring a personal, field-ready laptop loaded with fully functional AutoCAD software.
Compliance: Must hold a Valid and Transferable Iqama with ready, clean work documentation.
Commercial & Operational Terms:
Schedule: Fixed working hours (8 hours per day, Sunday to Thursday / 5 days a week).
Compensation: Fixed Monthly Salary package (freelance or hourly rates are not applicable; package discussed dynamically upon technical shortlisting).
FAT Terms: No FAT provided. The candidate must fully arrange and self-fund their own Food, Accommodation, and Transportation within Yanbu.
Evaluation Clause: A strict 1-week on-site evaluation trial is enforced by the client. A 50% rate deduction for the first week will apply only if the candidate fails to meet technical performance expectations during this period.
