Role Overview

Averroës Academy is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Chemistry Teacher to teach FBISE, O Level, A Level, and IB classes in both online and on campus modes. The ideal candidate must have strong subject expertise, clear communication skills, and a commitment to high quality teaching.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Engaging Lessons: Teach Chemistry concepts clearly across all curricula and grade levels.
• Prepare Lesson Plans: Develop structured lesson plans, presentations, and practical demonstrations.
• Conduct Assessments: Create quizzes, tests, assignments, and evaluate student performance regularly.
• Support Student Learning: Provide academic guidance, extra sessions, and exam preparation.
• Maintain Classroom Discipline: Ensure a respectful, safe, and productive learning environment.
• Use Digital Tools: Teach effectively using presentations, simulations, and online platforms.
• Collaborate with Faculty: Work with the academic team to improve teaching quality.
• Practical Activities: Plan safe lab demonstrations or virtual simulations.

Must Have Qualifications

For Subject Specialists (O/A Level & IB)
• Master’s degree in chemistry or a closely related field (mandatory).
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in O/A Level or IB Chemistry.
• Strong command of English for advanced curriculum delivery.
• Excellent subject knowledge (organic, inorganic, physical chemistry).
• Ability to teach using digital tools and LMS platforms.

For FBISE / Junior Level Teachers
• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry (minimum requirement).
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Federal Board curriculum.
• Strong understanding of Grade 9–12 Chemistry syllabus.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.

Required Skills & Experience
• Subject Expertise: Strong understanding of chemical reactions, equations, periodic trends, bonding, and lab safety.
• Teaching Skills: Ability to simplify complex concepts and ensure concept clarity.
• Assessment Skills: Experience designing tests aligned with curriculum standards.
• Digital Literacy: Skilled in presentations, online classes, and digital worksheets.
• Communication Skills: Clear, professional, student friendly communication.
• Curriculum Knowledge: Familiar with FBISE, Cambridge O/A Level, and IB frameworks.
• Professional Conduct: Punctuality, discipline, and a positive attitude toward students.
