Role Overview
Averroës Academy is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Business Teacher to teach classes in both online and on‑campus modes. The ideal candidate must have strong subject expertise, clear communication skills, and the ability to teach business concepts with clarity and real‑world relevance.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Engaging Lessons : Teach Business Studies, Economics, and related subjects across different grade levels.
Prepare Lesson Plans : Develop structured lesson plans, presentations, case studies, and business scenarios.
Conduct Assessments : Create quizzes, tests, assignments, and evaluate student performance regularly.
Support Student Learning : Provide academic guidance, extra sessions, and exam preparation.
Maintain Classroom Discipline : Ensure a respectful, safe, and productive learning environment.
Use Digital Tools : Teach effectively using presentations, spreadsheets, simulations, and online platforms.
Collaborate with Faculty : Work with the academic team to improve teaching quality.
Practical Activities : Conduct business case discussions, market simulations, financial analysis tasks, and project‑based learning.
Must Have Qualifications
For Subject Specialists
Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (mandatory).
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Business Studies or Economics.
Strong command of English for advanced curriculum delivery.
Excellent subject knowledge (business operations, marketing, finance, economics).
Ability to teach using digital tools and LMS platforms.
For Junior Level Teachers
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or Economics (minimum requirement).
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at school level.
Strong understanding of foundational business concepts.
Good communication and classroom management skills.

Teaching Skills : Ability to simplify complex theories and ensure concept clarity.

Communication Skills : Clear, professional, student‑friendly communication.
