Experienced Civil Site Engineer / Civil Site Supervisor with 7+ years of GCC experience in residential and commercial buildings, apartments, roads, bridges, and industrial construction projects. Strong experience in civil site execution, structural works, quantity take-off, material control, QA/QC inspection, subcontractor coordination, manpower management, and project documentation.
Experienced in supervising and coordinating excavation, backfilling, PCC, RCC, foundations, footings, columns, beams, slabs, reinforcement, formwork, concrete works, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, road works and finishing activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs, and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities & Expertise
Review IFC/approved drawings, specifications, BOQ and project requirements before execution.
Supervise daily civil construction activities and ensure work is completed as per approved drawings and schedule.
Execute and inspect foundation, reinforcement, formwork, concrete, columns, beams, slabs and structural works.
Prepare and verify Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) and optimize reinforcement quantities to minimize wastage.
Perform quantity take-off, measurements and material quantity calculations from drawings.
Monitor material consumption, reconciliation and prevent unnecessary material wastage.
Supervise subcontractors, manpower, equipment and daily productivity.
Coordinate concrete pouring activities, including pre-pour inspections, concrete pour cards, slump/cube testing and curing requirements.
Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications and quality requirements.
Prepare, review and follow up WIR, MIR, RFI, NCR and inspection documentation.
Review shop drawings and coordinate site execution with approved drawings.
Prepare DPR, WPR and MPR and maintain daily site records.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, clients and multidisciplinary teams.
Monitor project progress against approved schedules and identify delays or site constraints.
Support planning of manpower, equipment, materials and daily work activities.
Identify site issues and coordinate appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure proper housekeeping, safe work practices and compliance with project requirements.
Maintain accurate construction records, inspection reports and project documentation.
