Core Responsibilities
Site Surveillance & Quality Assurance (RIBA Stage 5)
• Conduct daily inspections of architectural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and quality standards.
• Inspect key architectural works including masonry, waterproofing, insulation, roofing, façades, curtain walling, glazing, ceilings, partitions, joinery, finishes, and external interfaces.
• Verify construction, materials, mock-ups, and installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, shop drawings, material submittals, manufacturer requirements, Method Statements, ITPs, and QA/QC procedures.
• Inspect delivered materials and their storage and handling to ensure compliance with approved submittals and protection from damage or deterioration.
• Witness relevant site and third-party testing and review results to confirm compliance with project requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Review contractor Inspection Requests (IRs) and confirm works are complete and ready for inspection.
• Participate in pre-completion inspections, snagging, defect identification, and Practical Completion inspections.
• Prepare and monitor punch lists and verify that all defects are satisfactorily rectified and closed.
Minimum Qualification:
All inspectors should have recognized Engineering degree for the respective field
and minimum 10 years’ experience as Engineer (for the respective field)
including 5 years supervision experience of similar projects in KSA
