"1- Perform TIG (Argon) and MIG/MAG (CO₂) welding on mild steel, stainless steel, or aluminum components.
2- Set up welding machines according to material type, thickness, and job specifications.
3- Select appropriate welding wire, filler rods, and shielding gases (Argon, CO₂, or gas mixtures).
4- Prepare joints by cleaning, grinding, or beveling materials before welding.
5- Execute accurate and consistent welds to meet dimensional and visual quality standar.
6- Check for welding defects such as porosity, cracks, or undercuts and repair as needed.
7- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of welding machines, cables, torches, and gas regulators.
8- Monitor gas flow rates and ensure proper storage and handling of cylinders.
9- Report equipment malfunctions or damage to the supervisor."
Other Expections/Skills :
"1- Proficiency in TIG (Argon) and MIG/MAG (CO₂) welding processes.
2- Ability to read and interpret welding symbols, fabrication drawings, and blueprints.
3- Knowledge of materials and metals – mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, etc.
4- Experience in operating and maintaining welding machines and tools.
5- Familiarity with quality inspection techniques – checking weld penetration, bead quality, and visual appearance.
6- Basic cutting, grinding, and fitting skills for material preparation and finishing."
Qualfications :
"1- High school diploma or equivalent.
2- Technical or vocational training / ITI certification in Welding, Fabrication, or Fitter trade – strongly preferred.
3- Welding certification from a recognized body (e.g., ASME, AWS, or local technical board) is an added advantage."
