Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced MEP Supervisor – Construction to supervise and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works across villa and high-rise building projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that site installations are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, project schedules, and engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily MEP installation, testing, and commissioning activities for villas and high-rise buildings.
Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works with structural and architectural activities to prevent clashes, delays, and rework.
Read and interpret MEP drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams, shop drawings, coordination drawings, and layout schematics.
Guide site installation teams and subcontractors to ensure works are completed according to approved drawings and specifications.
Supervise subcontractor manpower and monitor daily workforce allocation and productivity.
Ensure all MEP works are carried out in accordance with approved method statements, engineering standards, and project requirements.
Conduct routine site inspections and monitor workmanship and installation quality.
Identify, record, and follow up on snags and defects until proper rectification and closure.
Monitor material usage, equipment deployment, and workforce requirements to support project schedules.
Maintain accurate daily site reports, progress records, labor reports, material logs, and equipment deployment records.
Identify delays, technical issues, material shortages, and site constraints and report them promptly to the MEP Engineer.
Coordinate MEP service routes and verify dimensions against structural and architectural drawings.
Review 3D models and clash-detection reports where applicable to identify and resolve routing conflicts involving HVAC, piping, electrical, and other MEP services.
Ensure proper implementation of testing and commissioning procedures as instructed by the MEP Engineer.
Maintain strict compliance with construction site safety requirements, permit-to-work systems, PPE requirements, and applicable safety regulations.
Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, foremen, consultants, and other site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Strong technical knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing installation, testing, and commissioning procedures.
Proven experience working on villa and high-rise building construction projects.
Ability to accurately read and interpret MEP shop drawings, coordination drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams, and layout drawings.
Strong understanding of MEP coordination with architectural and structural elements.
Knowledge of local regulatory requirements, construction safety standards, and international engineering best practices.
Experience in site inspections, quality control, snagging, and defect rectification.
Ability to manage subcontractor teams and coordinate multiple site activities simultaneously.
Basic familiarity with 3D models and clash-detection reports for resolving MEP routing conflicts.
Ability to cross-reference MEP layouts and dimensions against architectural and structural drawings.
Good understanding of construction site safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and PPE requirements.
Proficiency in MS Excel for maintaining material logs, equipment deployment sheets, workforce deployment records, and daily tracking reports.
Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and site supervision skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Candidate
Locally available in Bahrain.
Immediate joiner preferred.
Candidates with strong construction and building-project experience will be highly considered.
Experience specifically in villa and high-rise projects is an advantage.
