Job Overview
We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Salesman / Saleslady to join our retail team. In this role, you will assist customers in selecting clothing and footwear, provide personalized styling advice, ensure accurate sizing, and deliver an exceptional shopping experience while driving store sales.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales
Greet customers warmly as they enter and offer assistance without being intrusive.
Guide customers through garment collections and shoe departments based on their style preferences, needs, and budget.
Accurately measure foot sizes using standard sizing tools and recommend appropriate shoe fits, width options, and support levels.
Cross-sell and up-sell complementary products, such as shoe care accessories, socks, belts, or matching apparel.
Handle customer inquiries, returns, and exchanges professionally according to store policies.
Store Operations & Merchandising
Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing display racks, shoe shelves, and fitting room areas.
Process POS transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card payments, and discount applications.
Receive, unbox, label, and sensor new inventory shipments for both footwear and apparel.
Monitor stock levels on the sales floor and restock missing sizes or items from the storeroom promptly.
Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in loss prevention efforts.
Requirements & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in retail sales, ideally within footwear, fashion, or apparel.
Strong understanding of garment fitting, fabric types, and footwear sizing systems.
Basic arithmetic skills for processing payments and managing inventory.
Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift shoe boxes or clothing racks for extended periods during shift hours.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
