Requirements
Experience working with POS systems and daily sales reconciliation.
Experience managing restaurant/café inventory and food costs.
Experience with VAT, tax, payroll, and local accounting requirements.
Experience preparing monthly management accounts.
Good knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Record daily sales, cash, card, and online payment transactions.
Reconcile daily cash and payment transactions with POS reports.
Monitor café expenses and operating costs.
Handle supplier invoices and accounts payable.
Track accounts receivable and outstanding payments.
Prepare monthly profit and loss statements and other financial reports.
Monitor inventory-related costs and assist with food-cost calculations.
Review purchasing and supplier invoices for accuracy.
Assist with payroll and employee-related financial records.
Monitor bank transactions and perform regular bank reconciliations.
Maintain proper filing of invoices, receipts, and financial documents.
