Senior Planning Engineer
🎯 Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Planning Engineer with expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6 and strong expertise in developing, managing, and updating Baseline Schedules for large-scale high-rise and luxury hotel projects.
✅ Key Responsibilities
Develop, manage, and maintain the Project Baseline Schedule using Primavera P6.
Prepare detailed project schedules covering engineering, procurement, construction, testing & commissioning, and handover.
Establish WBS, activity relationships, durations, logic, milestones, and critical paths.
Monitor actual progress against the approved Baseline Schedule.
Prepare and update weekly and monthly project schedules and progress reports.
Analyze schedule performance, delays, constraints, and critical path activities.
Prepare recovery schedules and mitigation plans where required.
Coordinate with Construction, Engineering, Procurement, Commercial, QA/QC, and Project Control teams.
Review and integrate subcontractor schedules into the overall project programme.
Prepare S-curves, progress curves, manpower histograms, look-ahead schedules, and productivity reports.
Identify potential delays and provide early warnings to project management.
Support delay analysis, EOT claims, and time-impact analysis when required.
Ensure project activities remain aligned with contractual milestones and approved project objectives.
📌 Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
Proven experience as a Senior Planning Engineer on major construction projects.
Expert-level Primavera P6 knowledge is mandatory.
Strong expertise in Baseline Schedule preparation, monitoring, updating, and control.
Mandatory High-Rise Tower experience.
Mandatory 5-Star Hotel / Luxury Hospitality Construction experience.
Strong understanding of CPM, WBS, critical path, resource loading, progress measurement, and schedule analysis.
Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and project controls.
Excellent analytical, reporting, coordination, and communication skills.
Candidates currently available in Saudi Arabia and available for immediate joining will be preferred.
🚫 STRICT SCREENING:
Candidates without High-Rise Tower + 5-Star Hotel experience, or without strong Primavera P6 and Baseline Scheduling expertise, will not be shortlisted.
