A growing tech-driven mobile garage startup in Bahrain is hiring an experienced Mobile Automotive Diagnostic Technician to join our field operations team.
Our business provides diagnostics, inspections, roadside assistance, minor maintenance and parts sourcing directly at customers' locations across Bahrain.
🔧 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Vehicle Diagnostics & Electrical Troubleshooting
Perform mobile diagnostics using Launch, Autel and OEM diagnostic systems
Diagnose electrical, electronic, sensor, module and CAN-BUS faults
Read wiring diagrams and perform circuit testing
Diagnose battery, charging-system and parasitic-drain problems
Perform battery registration, live-data analysis and module scanning
Conduct professional Pre-Purchase Inspections (PPI) including paint, chassis and computer diagnostics
European & Premium Vehicles
Strong experience is preferred with:

Mobile Garage & Roadside Services
Battery jump-start services
Battery testing
Tire inflation, puncture plugging and spare-wheel replacement
Mobile oil and filter changes
Air-filter inspection/replacement
AC diagnostic and refrigerant top-up services
Cooling-system diagnostics and electronic bleeding procedures
MAF, MAP and throttle-body inspection/cleaning where appropriate
General roadside fault diagnosis
Parts Sourcing & Workshop Coordination
Identify correct spare parts using VIN/chassis information
Source parts from Bahrain, GCC and international suppliers
Maintain and expand our supplier network
Coordinate towing for vehicles requiring major repairs
Refer major mechanical work to our approved partner workshops
Follow up on outsourced repair jobs and parts requirements
Important: Heavy mechanical work such as engine overhauls, gearbox replacements and major AC repairs is normally handled by our partner workshops. Your primary role is diagnosis, mobile service, parts sourcing and customer support.
✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 3–5 years' practical automotive diagnostic experience
Strong experience with European vehicles
Hands-on knowledge of Launch and/or Autel diagnostic scanners
Strong automotive electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills
Ability to independently read wiring diagrams and trace electrical faults
Good spoken and written English
Comfortable using smartphones, WhatsApp, photos, videos and digital job-management systems
Professional appearance and good customer communication skills
Flexible and willing to work in a startup/mobile-service environment
🚘 DRIVING LICENSE
Applicants must hold:
A valid International Driving Permit (IDP), OR
A valid GCC driving licence such as Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Oman or Kuwait
Candidates with a GCC licence that can be converted in Bahrain will have an advantage.
💰 SALARY & BENEFITS
Fixed monthly package: Up to BHD 300, depending on experience
Performance-based sales and upselling commission
Commission on profitable spare-parts sourcing

Potential total monthly earnings of BHD 600+ for high-performing technicians, depending on commissions and overtime

⏰ WORKING REQUIREMENTS
Normal operations are Saturday to Thursday, with additional paid opportunities for after-hours or Friday emergency roadside jobs.
As this is a startup environment, applicants must be flexible and willing to assist with reasonable operational duties when field-service demand is low.
