Job Objective:
Perform inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and electronic systems in heavy equipment and trucks, ensuring their safe and efficient operation.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Diagnose electrical faults using testing and diagnostic equipment.
* Repair and maintain starting, charging, and battery systems.
* Repair starters, alternators, wiring, and electrical circuits.
* Inspect and repair lighting, indicators, and dashboard systems.
* Troubleshoot electrical systems in heavy equipment and trucks.
* Inspect sensors, relays, fuses, and control units.
* Read and understand electrical wiring diagrams.
* Perform preventive electrical maintenance.
* Ensure all electrical systems are safe before operating the equipment.
* Follow all safety procedures and site instructions.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Minimum 3–5 years of experience in heavy equipment and truck electrical systems.
* Experience with excavators, wheel loaders, dump trucks, cranes, and similar equipment.
* Ability to use electrical diagnostic tools.
* Good knowledge of electrical circuits and wiring diagrams.
* Ability to work in workshops and field locations.
