A Rotating Technician is a skilled professional who specializes in the maintenance, inspection, and repair of rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, motors, gearbox, conveyor, reclaimer, stacker pastialltors, fans, and generators etc.
1) Inspection & Maintenance: - Conduct regular inspections of equipment. Perform the Preventive maintenance to avoid unexpected task or Corrective maintenance task.
2) Lubricate bearings, shafts, and other moving parts. Deep cleaning of equipment.
3) Troubleshooting & Repair
4) Identify faults in rotating equipment.
5) Repair or replace defective components such as seals, bearings, and couplings.
6) Align shafts and balance rotating machinery for smooth operation.
7) Installation & Commissioning and overhauling of equipment as required
8) Monitoring & Reporting
9) Assisting machinery performance using vibration analysis, temperature checks, and other diagnostic tools.
10) Maintain records with Supervisor/ Foreman of maintenance activities and report any operational issues. Completing the SAP tickets.
11) Safety & Compliance: -Follow safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment (PPE). Ensure equipment complies with industry standards and operational guidelines.
Collaboration: -Work with engineers, electricians, and other technicians to solve complex machinery issues.
