HSE Officer

This is Hussain Zada as an HSE Officer, I am responsible for maintaining a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace by identifying potential hazards, guiding employees on safe work practices, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and applicable HSE standards. I work closely with site teams to prevent incidents, improve safety awareness, and build a strong culture where everyone takes responsibility for safety.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular site inspections and identify unsafe conditions or practices before they lead to incidents.

- Prepare and monitor risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Method Statements.

- Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and practical HSE awareness sessions to workers.

- Monitor the correct use of PPE and ensure safety procedures are followed during daily activities.

- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe occurrences, and recommend effective corrective actions.

- Coordinate emergency drills and support the team in maintaining emergency preparedness.

- Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, incident documentation, and other required safety registers.

- Communicate safety concerns clearly with supervisors, workers, and management and follow up until issues are properly resolved.

- Promote environmental awareness by monitoring waste management, housekeeping, spill prevention, and other environmental controls.

- Encourage employees to report hazards and actively participate in continuous safety improvement.
