Hussain Zada – NEBOSH IGC Certified HSE Professional

I am Hussain Zada, a NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) holder with over seven years of professional experience in Saudi Arabia (KSA) in the field of Health, Safety and Environment. Throughout my career, I have developed a practical and people-focused approach to workplace safety, combining international HSE standards with real site experience. I believe effective safety is not only about procedures and paperwork—it is about understanding people, identifying risks before they become incidents, and creating a workplace where everyone takes responsibility for going home safely at the end of the day.

Professional HSE Approach

- Conduct workplace inspections and identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and potential hazards.
- Carry out risk assessments and support the implementation of suitable control measures.
- Promote safe working practices through toolbox talks, safety briefings, and regular communication with workers.
- Monitor compliance with company HSE policies, approved method statements, risk assessments, and applicable KSA requirements.
- Investigate incidents and near misses, identify root causes, and recommend practical corrective and preventive actions.
- Work closely with supervisors, engineers, workers, and management to make safety part of everyday operations.
- Encourage workers to report hazards without fear and ensure reported concerns are followed up properly.
- Support emergency preparedness, fire prevention, PPE compliance, housekeeping, and safe access and egress.
- Maintain accurate HSE records, inspection reports, training records, and incident documentation.
- Lead by example by maintaining a professional, approachable, and proactive attitude toward workplace safety.

My Safety Philosophy

For me, HSE is not simply a checklist or a set of rules. A strong safety culture is built through communication, consistency, accountability, and genuine care for people. I focus on practical solutions that workers can understand and apply in their daily activities, while continuously looking for opportunities to improve site safety performance and prevent incidents before they happen.
