Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to manage end-to-end procurement activities within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
Candidates with KSA industrial procurement experience and exposure to local and international suppliers will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the full procurement cycle from requisition, sourcing and RFQs through quotation evaluation, negotiation, PO issuance, expediting, delivery, and close-out.
• Source and evaluate suppliers for industrial materials, equipment, spare parts, MRO, consumables, and technical services.
• Obtain and analyze quotations, prepare commercial comparisons, and negotiate price, payment terms, delivery, and commercial conditions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers, manufacturers, contractors, and service providers.
• Monitor and expedite purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery and resolve supplier-related issues.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Maintenance, Operations, Finance, Warehouse, and Quality teams to ensure procurement requirements are met.
• Support supplier qualification, evaluation, and performance management.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and use ERP/procurement systems for purchasing, tracking, and reporting.
• Monitor market prices and supplier capabilities and identify cost-saving and supply-risk mitigation opportunities.
• Coordinate with logistics/suppliers on international shipments when required.
Qualifications & Experience
• BE Mechanical
• 5–8+ years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in industrial/manufacturing, EPC, engineering, oil & gas, petrochemical, or similar sectors.
• Strong experience in industrial procurement, MRO, equipment, spare parts, materials, and technical services.
• Proven experience in supplier sourcing, quotation analysis, negotiation, purchasing, and expediting.
• Experience dealing with local and international vendors.
• Good understanding of technical specifications and industrial products.
• Experience with ERP/procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
• Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
Preferred
• Previous procurement experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Good knowledge of the KSA industrial supplier and contractor market.
• Experience in manufacturing plants, industrial facilities, production, maintenance, or MRO procurement.
• Experience with CAPEX/OPEX, Greenfield or Brownfield projects.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Candidate Requirements
• Candidates currently residing in KSA only.
• Valid KSA Iqama / work authorization and ability to transfer sponsorship where applicable.
• Immediate or short-notice availability is preferred.
• Ready to work through contractor/manpower outsource partner.
