Job Description
Receive incoming materials and verify quantity, quality, and specifications against purchase orders and delivery documents.
Prepare and maintain GRN, issue notes, transfer notes, and other store documentation.
Properly arrange and label materials according to category, item code, batch, and storage requirements.
Issue materials to departments based on authorized requests and maintain accurate records.
Monitor stock levels and identify shortages, excess stock, damaged items, and slow-moving materials.
Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile inventory records with actual stock.
Follow FIFO/FEFO principles wherever applicable.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse/store environment.
Update inventory transactions accurately in ERP or inventory management systems.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock and inventory reports.
Coordinate with procurement, purchasing, operations, and finance teams regarding material requirements and discrepancies.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and preservation of materials.
Follow company policies, warehouse procedures, and HSE/safety requirements.
Support audits and maintain proper documentation for inventory verification.
