Begin Your Pharmacy Technician Training At Dixie Technical College

This program trains students to support pharmacists by performing essential duties in community pharmacies, hospitals, compounding pharmacies, long term care, mail order, and other pharmaceutical environments. Through hands-on lab experience and classroom instruction, students learn medication identification, dosage calculations, prescription processing, billing, aseptic techniques, and preparation of sterile and non-sterile compounded medications.
