2. Industrial Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant practical/industrial experience is preferred.
3. Training Experience: Previous teaching or technical/vocational training experience is preferred, especially hands-on training in the Air-conditioning Field.
4. Practical Skills: The candidate must have strong practical skills and be able to train students in workshops and labs, not only teach theory.
5. Troubleshooting & Maintenance: The candidate should be able to train students on troubleshooting, fault finding, and proper maintenance procedures, where applicable in the AC system.
6. Training Ability: The candidate must be able to explain technical topics in a simple and clear way and deal effectively with trainees of different skill levels.
7. Student Assessment: The candidate should be able to assess students’ practical skills and ensure they can perform tasks independently and correctly.
8. Health & Safety: Good knowledge of occupational health and safety requirements and the ability to apply them during practical training.
9. English Language: The candidate should have a suitable level of English to communicate with students, explain technical content, and understand technical terminology.
11. Priority: Preference should be given to candidates who combine relevant academic qualifications, strong industrial experience, and teaching/training experience.
12. Final Selection: All shortlisted candidates will be interviewed and evaluated to assess their technical knowledge, practical skills, training ability, and overall suitability.
