Job Summary
Responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, testing, and commissioning hydraulic systems and components used in industrial and mobile equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose hydraulic system faults using pressure gauges, flow meters, and other diagnostic tools.
Repair and overhaul hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, power packs, and hydraulic systems.
Dismantle, inspect, clean, repair, and reassemble hydraulic components.
Replace hydraulic seals, O-rings, hoses, fittings, tubes, and other components.
Perform hydraulic hose assembly and onsite hose replacement.
Conduct pressure testing and performance testing after repairs.
Troubleshoot hydraulic leakage, pressure loss, overheating, abnormal noise, and poor system performance.
Read hydraulic circuit diagrams and understand hydraulic symbols.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on hydraulic equipment.
Support mobile/onsite hydraulic repair at customer locations.
Maintain service reports, repair records, inspection reports, and parts requirements.
Follow company HSE and quality procedures, including safe isolation and pressure-release procedures.
Coordinate with engineers and supervisors for major repairs and technical issues.
Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and work areas.
Hydrotech specifically advertises onsite/mobile hydraulic service, including hose fabrication, diagnostics of pumps/motors/valves/cylinders, and preventive maintenance.
Required Qualifications
Diploma/ITI/technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulics, or a related field.
2–5+ years of experience as a Hydraulic Technician, preferably in industrial hydraulics, heavy equipment, construction equipment, oil & gas, or mobile hydraulics.
Strong practical knowledge of hydraulic systems and components.
Ability to read hydraulic schematics.
Experience with hydraulic troubleshooting and component repair.
Knowledge of hydraulic hose assembly and fittings.
Ability to use workshop and hydraulic testing tools.
Saudi/GCC experience is an advantage.
Valid Saudi driving licence is advantageous for field-service work.
