Job Purpose
The Traffic Manager is responsible for managing and supervising daily transportation operations, ensuring the efficient deployment of vehicles and drivers while maintaining safety, service quality, and compliance with company and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage daily vehicle and driver operations.
- Coordinate vehicle movements, routes, schedules, and assignments.
- Monitor transportation activities and ensure timely service delivery.
- Supervise Traffic Coordinators, Fleet In-Charge personnel, and drivers.
- Ensure sufficient vehicles and drivers are available according to operational requirements.
- Monitor driver attendance, performance, working hours, and discipline.
- Handle operational issues, delays, breakdowns, accidents, and emergencies.
- Coordinate with customers regarding transportation schedules and operational requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi traffic regulations, company policies, and customer HSE requirements.
- Monitor vehicle utilization and minimize unnecessary downtime.
- Coordinate with the maintenance/technical team regarding vehicle breakdowns and repairs.
- Review daily traffic and operational reports.
- Investigate operational incidents and prepare corrective-action reports.
- Ensure proper documentation for vehicles, drivers, permits, and operating requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve route planning, fleet utilization, and operational efficiency.
- Prepare regular performance reports for management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in transportation/logistics operations.
- Strong knowledge of fleet and transportation management.
- Good knowledge of Saudi traffic and transportation regulations.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and fleet management systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage emergencies.

2. Traffic Coordinator

Job Purpose
The Traffic Coordinator is responsible for coordinating daily vehicle and driver movements, maintaining operational records, and ensuring that transportation services are executed according to the approved schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily vehicle and driver schedules.
- Coordinate driver deployment and vehicle assignments.
- Monitor vehicle movements and trip schedules.
- Maintain communication with drivers throughout their shifts.
- Track vehicle locations using GPS/fleet management systems.
- Follow up on delays, route changes, breakdowns, and other operational issues.
- Coordinate replacement vehicles and drivers when required.
- Communicate customer requirements to drivers and operational teams.
- Record trip details, mileage, working hours, fuel consumption, and vehicle utilization.
- Monitor driver attendance and report absenteeism or late arrivals.
- Ensure drivers follow approved routes and schedules.
- Maintain daily traffic and operational reports.
- Escalate accidents, breakdowns, customer complaints, and other incidents to the Traffic Manager.
- Coordinate with the Fleet In-Charge and Technical Support team for vehicle-related issues.
- Ensure required vehicle and driver documents are available and valid.
- Assist in preparing weekly and monthly operational reports.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in transportation/logistics coordination.
- Good knowledge of fleet operations.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to use GPS and fleet tracking systems.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Ability to work shifts, including weekends when required.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and operational emergencies.

3. Fleet In-Charge

Job Purpose
The Fleet In-Charge is responsible for the day-to-day management, availability, condition, and utilization of company vehicles, ensuring that the fleet remains safe, roadworthy, and operational.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the condition and availability of all company vehicles.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections.
- Ensure vehicles are clean, safe, and ready for operation.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Follow up on vehicle breakdowns and repairs.
- Coordinate with workshops, mechanics, suppliers, and technical teams.
- Maintain vehicle maintenance records and service history.
- Monitor vehicle registration, inspection, insurance, and other required documents.
- Prepare preventive maintenance schedules.
- Monitor tire condition, battery status, oil levels, and other critical vehicle components.
- Coordinate vehicle replacements when a vehicle is unavailable.
- Monitor fuel consumption and investigate abnormal consumption.
- Maintain records of vehicle mileage and service intervals.
- Ensure vehicles are properly assigned and utilized.
- Report major mechanical issues to management.
- Coordinate with drivers regarding vehicle defects and maintenance requirements.
- Ensure vehicles comply with company safety standards and applicable regulations.
- Maintain a fleet status report showing available, operational, under maintenance, and breakdown vehicles.
- Support accident and breakdown investigations when required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, Fleet Management, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in fleet or vehicle maintenance.
- Knowledge of buses, trucks, vans, and commercial vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good coordination and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of vehicle documentation and regulatory requirements.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and fleet management systems.

4. Technical Support

Job Purpose
The Technical Support Officer provides technical assistance for the company's vehicles and operational systems, supports troubleshooting and maintenance activities, and ensures technical issues are resolved efficiently to minimize vehicle downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for fleet-related operational issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle technical problems.
- Coordinate with mechanics and external workshops for repairs.
- Follow up on breakdowns and ensure timely recovery of vehicles.
