Key Responsibilities:
Site Monitoring: Conduct daily safety inspections and hazard assessments across project sites.
Compliance & Audits: Ensure all site operations comply with client HSE guidelines, OSHA standards, and local labor regulations.
Permit to Work (PTW): Verify and inspect Work Permits (Hot Work, Cold Work, Confined Space, Excavation, Lifting) prior to job execution.
Toolbox Talks: Conduct daily safety briefings and orientation sessions for site workers and subcontractors.
Incident Investigation: Lead root-cause analysis for any near-misses, injuries, or property damage, and implement corrective action plans.
Emergency Response: Maintain emergency preparedness, inspect firefighting equipment, and oversee regular evacuation drills.
Documentation: Prepare daily/weekly HSE reports, incident logs, and safety performance summaries.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
Certifications: NEBOSH IGC (Required), OSHA 30-Hour, or IOSH Managing Safely. Aramco/SABIC approval is a strong advantage.
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Safety Officer in industrial contracting, oil & gas, civil construction, or plant maintenance within Saudi Arabia.
Skills: Strong knowledge of Saudi Labor Law HSE regulations, hazard identification, risk assessment, and report writing.
Languages: English (Fluent written and spoken); Arabic or Hindi/Urdu is a plus.
Status: Valid Saudi Driving License and transferable Iqama preferred.
