1. Daily Operations: The supervisor will manage store opening/closing, ensure cleanliness, security, and smooth handling of cash and till operations.
2. Inventory Control: Responsibilities include receiving stock, entering purchase invoices daily, conducting physical stock audits, and managing inter-store transfers, through designated staff.
3. Display & Reordering: The candidate must manage shelf displays, check expiry dates, issue purchase demands for essential grocery items, and monitor promotional stock and campaigns.
4. Team Management: Includes duty allocations, maintaining attendance records, arranging backups for absent staff, conflict resolution and providing basic customer service training.
5. Technology Oversight: The role demands supervision of software operations, hardware maintenance (POS, CCTV, printers), and coordination with IT staff and service providers.
6. E-Commerce Integration: The supervisor will supervise website content, keep product and price listings updated, and process online grocery orders.
7. Reporting & Compliance: Includes legal and Baldia compliance, salary sheets preparation, and confidential record-keeping related to sales, purchases, and payroll.
8. Customer Service: The candidate must have the experience to handle customer complaints efficiently and proactively and to satisfy them with improved service quality, ensuring loyalty and strong bonding.
9. Growth Partner: Monitoring sale trends, forecasting customer needs, ensuring a persistent increase, preventing stock/cash pilferage, and ensuring reasonable pricing to maximize profitability. Take initiative in opening of new branches and exploring new avenues of expansion.
10. Hands on experience to manage sales across different Products and Segments Mix.
