A. Position Information

Job Title: Maintenance Manager
Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Plant Manager / General Manager

B. Qualification
Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.

Experience

Minimum 8–12 years of maintenance experience in heavy industrial manufacturing, preferably in LSAW / HSAW / ERW pipe manufacturing, steel mills, or similar heavy industries, with supervisory or management experience.

Language

Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Knowledge & Skills
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, utility, PLC, automation, drives, sensors, and industrial control systems.
Strong knowledge of Preventive, Predictive, Corrective, and Condition-Based Maintenance.
Strong troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills.
Good knowledge of maintenance planning, shutdowns, spare parts, budgeting, and maintenance KPIs.
Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving, and team management skills.
C. Role & Responsibilities

Main responsibilities including but not limited to:

Manage all maintenance activities for production equipment, utilities, cranes, and supporting facilities.
Develop and implement annual and monthly preventive maintenance plans, shutdown schedules, and maintenance programs.
Ensure effective execution of Preventive, Predictive, Corrective, and Condition-Based Maintenance activities.
Lead troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis for equipment breakdowns and recurring failures.
Improve equipment reliability, availability, MTBF and MTTR, while minimizing unplanned downtime.
Manage maintenance of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, automation, and industrial control systems.
Ensure proper maintenance of heavy production equipment including forming presses, milling machines, welding systems, conveyors, hydraulic power units, cranes, pumps, compressors, and material-handling equipment.
Establish critical spare-parts requirements, optimize spare-parts inventory, and coordinate with OEMs, suppliers, and maintenance contractors.
Prepare and control the maintenance budget, CAPEX/OPEX, manpower requirements, and external maintenance contracts.
Monitor maintenance KPIs including downtime, equipment availability, PM compliance, MTBF, MTTR, maintenance cost, and breakdown frequency.
Support and supervise equipment installation, commissioning, modification, upgrades, and major overhauls.
Analyze breakdown and maintenance data and implement continuous improvement and equipment reliability programs.
Ensure maintenance activities comply with HSE requirements, company procedures, and applicable technical standards.
Lead, supervise, and develop the maintenance team and ensure proper allocation of manpower and resources.
Coordinate maintenance activities with Production, QC, Supply Chain, HSE, and other concerned departments.
Perform any other related duties assigned by Management.
D. Accountability & Authority

The Maintenance Manager is accountable for ensuring the reliability, availability, and safe operation of production equipment, utilities, and supporting systems, while minimizing equipment downtime and maintenance costs.

The Maintenance Manager has the authority to:

Plan and prioritize maintenance activities and allocate maintenance manpower.
Stop equipment when continued operation may cause safety risks or major equipment damage.
Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, suppliers, and concerned departments.
Recommend equipment modifications, upgrades, spare parts, and reliability improvements.
Review maintenance performance and implement corrective actions for recurring failures.
Recommend CAPEX/OPEX requirements and major maintenance activities for Management approval.
