We are looking for an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to join our construction team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in MEP construction, with good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems. The role will involve coordinating and supervising MEP works from installation through testing and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily mechanical and electrical construction activities.
Manage and coordinate MEP works including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection.
Review and interpret construction drawings, MEP drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
Coordinate MEP works with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing teams.
Supervise subcontractors, technicians, and site workers.
Monitor work progress, manpower, materials, and installation quality.
Conduct site inspections and identify technical issues, clashes, and installation problems.
Coordinate material requirements, inspections, testing, and commissioning.
Ensure MEP installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, and quality standards.
Coordinate with consultants, clients, contractors, suppliers, and project management.
Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain proper site documentation.
Assist with snagging, rectification, testing, commissioning, and final handover.
Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and Bahrain construction regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant MEP construction experience.
Strong construction background is required.
Experience in villa, high-rise, commercial, or residential projects is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services.
Ability to read and understand MEP/shop drawings and technical specifications.
Experience in supervising subcontractors and site teams.
Knowledge of MEP installation, testing, and commissioning.
Good communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Bahrain/GCC construction experience is highly preferred.
Must be currently available in Bahrain.
Immediate joiner preferred.
AutoCAD and MS Office knowledge is an advantage.
Preferred Candidate
Candidates with hands-on construction experience in Bahrain, particularly on high-rise buildings and large villa projects, will be given priority.
