Job Description
The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all fit-out works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures for fit-out and interior works.
- Inspect materials, workmanship, and completed works to ensure compliance with approved specifications.
- Review and verify shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and inspection requests.
- Conduct inspections for architectural and fit-out activities, including ceilings, partitions, flooring, painting, joinery, doors, and other interior finishes.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, checklists, quality records, and documentation.
- Identify defects and non-conformities and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and project management teams regarding quality requirements.
- Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and project specifications.
- Participate in testing, inspections, snagging, and final handover activities.
- Ensure proper documentation and implementation of the project's Quality Management System.
🎓 Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in QA/QC, preferably in fit-out, interior, commercial, hospitality, or building projects.
- Strong knowledge of fit-out construction methods, materials, finishes, and quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Familiarity with inspection procedures, method statements, ITPs, checklists, and NCR processes.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively under project deadlines.
