Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (QS) & Contracts Manager
Job Summary
To manage all quantity surveying, commercial, cost-control, procurement, and contractual activities of construction projects from tender stage through final account.
Key responsibilities: -
• BOQ preparation, quantity take-off and rate analysis
• Tendering and subcontractor evaluation
• Contract preparation and administration
• FIDIC contract management
• Interim payment applications and certification
• Variation orders and valuation
• Claims, EOT and delay analysis
• Cost control and budget monitoring
• Monthly commercial reports
• Subcontract management
• Client/consultant/contractor commercial negotiations
• Final account preparation and settlement
• Identify and manage contractual and commercial risks
Required Qualifications: -
• Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• 5–8+ years relevant experience
• Strong FIDIC and GCC/Bahrain construction experience preferred
• Good knowledge of BOQ, variations, claims, EOT, payment certificates and final accounts
• Excellent Excel and commercial reporting skills
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
