Geotechnical Engineer

I am writing to express my strong interest in the Geotechnical or Tunnel Engineer position, bringing approximately eight years of specialized experience in the construction and monitoring of roads, slopes, tunnels, and hydropower structures. Currently serving as a Lead Field Geologist in Saudi Arabia, I possess a deep technical background in the New Austrian Tunneling Method (NATM) and have contributed to high-profile projects like the NEOM West Mountain Running Tunnels. My expertise spans rock mass characterization using RMR, SMR, GSI, and Q-systems, as well as performing kinematic stability analysis via Rocscience Dips to identify potential ground failure risks. I am highly proficient in supervising probe hole and bore hole drilling and analyzing Measurement While Drilling (MWD) data to optimize tunnel support and ensure safe excavation through complex fault zones.
