We are seeking a skilled Mason to layout, construct, and repair structures using bricks, concrete blocks, stone, and mortar. You will interpret construction drawings, mix materials accurately, and ensure all structural and decorative masonry work is durable, level, and meets strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret construction drawings and layouts to determine material needs, dimensions, and installation patterns for the site.
Mix mortar and concrete precisely by combining sand, cement, and water to the required consistency for structural strength.
Lay bricks and blocks straight and level using trowels, plumb bobs, spirit levels, and laser guides.
Cut and shape materials like stone, brick, or concrete blocks using power saws, chisels, and hammers to fit specific spaces.
Finish and smooth joints using pointing tools to seal gaps, prevent water penetration, and create a clean aesthetic look.
Adhere to safety regulations by keeping work areas tidy, properly setting up scaffolding, and wearing correct protective gear.
