We are seeking a skilled Welder to join, fabricate, and repair metal structures, pipes, and components using various welding techniques. You will interpret technical blueprints, select appropriate welding equipment, and ensure all finished welds meet strict quality, safety, and industry structural standards. []1]
Key Responsibilities
Interpret blueprints and drawings to determine layouts, weld specifications, material types, and required welding positions.
Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, grinding, cutting, and beveling edges to ensure high-quality weld penetration.
Operate welding equipment using specific techniques like SMAW (Stick), GMAW (MIG), or GTAW (TIG) based on project specs.
Monitor the welding process to prevent overheating, warping, distortion, or structural defects in the metal parts.
Inspect finished welds for cracks, porosity, or issues, using precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Maintain safety standards by wearing proper PPE, setting up welding screens, and inspecting tools before starting hot work. []1]
