Young players need opportunities to practise skills, not simply spend time on the pitch. First Steps Soccer provides kids football training in Swindon for children aged 2-10, with classes grouped according to age, experience and current attainment. At Great Western Academy, sessions cover pre-school children aged 2-4, Reception to Year 2, and Years 3-5. This age-appropriate structure gives children training suited to their stage while keeping sessions fun, supportive and skills-focused. The FSS syllabus includes ball work to develop feel, flexibility and confidence with a football.
