Position: Procurement Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Procurement Engineer to join our team in Riyadh.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the procurement process from material requirement to delivery.
Source and evaluate suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
Request and compare quotations, negotiate prices, and finalize commercial terms.
Prepare Purchase Orders and ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment.
Coordinate with project, engineering, production, and finance teams regarding procurement requirements.
Review technical specifications, BOQs, drawings, and material requirements.
Ensure purchased materials meet project specifications and quality standards.
Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and material availability.
Maintain proper procurement records, quotations, comparison sheets, and supplier documentation.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and develop reliable supplier networks.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or construction-related procurement.
Good knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and suppliers.
Ability to understand BOQs, drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor-management skills.
Good knowledge of MS Office and Excel.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
