Job Purpose
Lead the planning, organization, execution, and delivery of Magnaite's systems-integration projects (CCTV and AI-based surveillance, networking, cybersecurity, audio-visual systems, POS, access control, and control rooms), ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, quality, and safety standards, achieving client satisfaction, and complying with applicable Saudi laws and regulations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Project Initiation & Planning
• Prepare the project execution plan (scope of work, Work Breakdown Structure, schedule, and resource allocation).
• Define key milestones and client review/approval checkpoints.
• Coordinate with the Sales and Business Development team to understand contract scope and obligations before execution begins.
• Identify initial project risks and prepare a risk register with mitigation plans.
2. Field Execution & Technical Team Management
• Directly supervise Technical Supervisors, Team Leads, and Technicians on-site.
• Schedule manpower and equipment across concurrent projects for optimal utilization.
• Track actual progress against the approved schedule and address deviations as soon as they arise.
• Resolve technical and logistical issues on-site in coordination with the technical department.
3. Procurement & Vendor Management
• Coordinate with the Procurement department to ensure timely availability of required equipment and materials (cameras, network equipment, access-control devices, etc.).
• Monitor suppliers' and subcontractors' compliance with delivery schedules and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Participate in evaluating technical suppliers on quality and schedule adherence.
4. Budget & Cost Management
• Prepare and track each project's budget, and monitor any cost variance.
• Approve project operating expenses within the delegated authority limits.
• Submit periodic project profitability reports to the COO and the Finance department.
5. Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE)
• Ensure execution teams comply with occupational safety standards on-site, in line with Chapter VIII of the Saudi Labor Law (Protection of Workers Against Occupational Hazards).
• Conduct or oversee internal quality audits for each project prior to final handover.
• Immediately report any safety incidents or field non-compliance and escalate per the approved procedure.
6. Client Relationship & Handover Management
• Act as the primary point of contact with the client throughout project execution.
• Receive, document, and approve Change Requests prior to implementation.
• Organize testing, commissioning, and final handover, with complete documentation including as-built drawings, warranties, and operation manuals.
• Follow up on client satisfaction after handover and during the warranty/maintenance periods.
7. Reporting & Documentation
• Submit periodic (weekly/monthly) project status reports to the COO.
• Maintain a complete, organized record for each project (contracts, correspondence, meeting minutes, handover reports).
8. Team Development
• Contribute to performance evaluations of technicians and field supervisors in coordination with the HR department.
• Identify the team's technical training needs and submit them to HR.
Required Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Communications, Networking, Electrical) or a related field.
• 5–8 years of practical experience in technical project management or systems-integration projects (experience in CCTV/networking/security systems preferred).
• A recognized professional project management certification (PMP or PRINCE2) is preferred.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, spoken and written.
• Good working knowledge of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel between project sites.
