## **Job Description**
The **Child Care Assistant / Assistant Teacher** is responsible for supporting teachers, supervisors, parents, and childcare professionals in providing a **safe, caring, structured, and educational environment for children**.
The position involves assisting with classroom activities, supervising children, supporting their daily needs, organizing educational and recreational activities, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and contributing to children's social, emotional, and academic development.
**Roles & Responsibilities**
* Assist the lead teacher in preparing and delivering **age-appropriate educational activities and lessons**.
* Support children individually and in groups during classroom activities.
* Supervise children and ensure their **safety, security, and well-being** at all times.
* Assist children with daily routines, including eating, hygiene, changing, rest periods, and other age-appropriate needs.
