Mechanical Engineer — Energy Infrastructure Reliability, Efficiency & Predictive Analytics
Based in Medina, KSA Transferable Iqama Immediately Available

Every energy or industrial facility in Saudi Arabia faces the same underlying challenge: keeping mechanical systems running reliably while controlling maintenance costs and downtime. That's the problem I've spent my career solving — from the field to the research lab.

For 6+ years, I've worked hands-on with piping networks, plant equipment, cooling systems, and thermal-fluid systems on major Saudi EPC projects, closing hundreds of NCRs, punch items, and technical queries to protect commissioning and operational readiness. Alongside this, my PhD (Peking University) focused on applying AI/ML to energy systems — giving me a research-backed understanding of how predictive analytics can reduce unplanned failures and improve plant efficiency, not just in theory but in ways that translate to real operational savings.

What I bring to energy/industrial operators in KSA:

Practical experience keeping mechanical systems (piping, plumbing, plant equipment, cooling systems) compliant, tested, and operational under real project pressure
A research foundation in predictive maintenance and reliability analytics using AI/ML — able to identify early failure indicators and support data-driven maintenance planning
Thermal-fluid and thermodynamic cycle analysis experience (REFPROP, Cycle Tempo, ANSYS) for evaluating and improving system performance
A track record of closing technical and quality issues fast: 40 NCRs, 1,200 punch items, 6 TQs on one project; 330+ design/site discrepancies and 200+ FCNs on another
ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor training — a structured, standards-based approach to quality and reliability management
Full comfort working within EPC, Aramco-linked, and China-managed contractor environments (SEPCO), including direct coordination in Mandarin where needed

Career Experience:

Lead Mechanical Engineer – SEPCO Arabia, Jafurah Desalination Project (Jan 2024–Mar 2026)
Lead Mechanical Engineer (MEP Technical) – SEPCO Arabia, Maritime Yard Project, Ras Al Khair, Saudi Aramco EPC support (Dec 2020–Nov 2023)

Education:
PhD, Energy and Resources Engineering, Peking University MS Mechanical Engineering, COMSATS University BSc Mechanical Engineering, Bahauddin Zakariya University

Technical Toolkit:
AutoCAD, ANSYS, MATLAB, Creo, Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, REFPROP, Cycle Tempo, Aconex

Languages: Urdu (Native), English (Fluent), Mandarin Chinese (Fluent), Arabic (Conversational)

If your organization is looking for a mechanical engineer who can maintain today's energy infrastructure while helping you move toward smarter, more predictive operations, I'd welcome the conversation.
