Mechanical Engineer Built For Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 Energy Future | EPC Experience

Mechanical Engineer — Positioned for Saudi Arabia's Next-Generation Energy Projects
Based in Medina, KSA Transferable Iqama Available Immediately

Saudi Arabia is entering a new phase of energy development — giga-projects, renewable energy targets, and increasing digitalization across oil & gas, desalination, and industrial sectors as part of Vision 2030. That shift needs engineers who aren't just experienced, but built for where the industry is going next. I've spent my career preparing for exactly that.

I hold a PhD in Energy and Resources Engineering from Peking University, where my research applied AI and machine learning to solar energy forecasting and renewable system modeling — published in peer-reviewed journals. But I didn't stop at research. For 6+ years, I've worked on the ground on major Saudi EPC projects, managing piping systems, plant equipment, and mechanical construction through to commissioning and handover on Aramco-linked and China-managed contracts.

What this means for forward-looking employers:

Today's projects: Proven mechanical engineering delivery — piping networks, plumbing systems, plant equipment, thermal-fluid systems, QA/QC, and turnover/COD readiness on large-scale EPC projects
Tomorrow's projects: Research-backed capability in solar forecasting, renewable energy modeling, and AI-based predictive analytics — directly relevant to solar plants, hybrid energy systems, and digitalization initiatives tied to Vision 2030 targets
Quality & governance: ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certified, with a structured, standards-driven approach to project execution
Cross-cultural delivery: 6+ years living and studying in China with fluent Mandarin — able to work directly with Chinese EPC contractors, design institutes, and QA/QC teams without communication gaps, a genuine advantage on SEPCO-type and other China-managed contracts

Track Record:

Lead Mechanical Engineer – SEPCO Arabia, Jafurah Desalination Project (Jan 2024–Mar 2026): closed 40 NCRs, 1,200 punch items, and 6 TQs to protect handover schedules
Lead Mechanical Engineer (MEP Technical) – SEPCO Arabia, Maritime Yard Project, Ras Al Khair, Saudi Aramco EPC support (Dec 2020–Nov 2023): reviewed 1,000+ IFC drawings, resolved 330+ design/site discrepancies, processed 200+ FCNs

Education:
PhD, Energy and Resources Engineering, Peking University MS Mechanical Engineering, COMSATS University, Islamabad BSc Mechanical Engineering, Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan

Technical Skills:
AutoCAD, ANSYS, MATLAB, Creo, Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, REFPROP, Cycle Tempo, Aconex

Languages: Urdu (Native), English (Fluent), Mandarin Chinese (Fluent), Arabic (Conversational)

Whether your organization needs solid mechanical execution on a current project or engineering talent ready to grow into renewable and digital energy initiatives, I bring both the field experience and the research foundation to deliver.
